His banner over me is love.
Song of Solomon 2:4
This is a depiction of how God's love, represented through the colours of the banner, covers over those who worship. The red in the banner represents His blood, shed through His sacrifice on the cross, the grey into white stripe portrays cleansing through His sacrifice and the silver represents purity and royalty.
'Banner' was created as a companion piece to 'Dance'. It is a representation of me in worship in that I kneel before a Holy God, who sees fit to cover me with His love. My hand is raised in acknowledgement of all that He has done for me.
